Custom or Template? Choosing Your Next Website

The template-versus-custom debate usually starts in the wrong place: budget. The better first question is what the website actually has to accomplish.
Templates win when your needs are standard — a clear story, a handful of pages, and a team that wants to update content without a developer. Modern builders are genuinely good at this.
Custom earns its cost when the site is part of the product: unique workflows, integrations with your systems, performance or accessibility requirements that standard stacks can’t meet.
Either way, the expensive mistake is the same: choosing a foundation that can’t reach the outcome you wrote down. Pick the approach that fits the job — then commit to it.
